 Great Product, Fabulous Customer Service, Charging Issues Appear to Be Fixed October 30, 2009

We purchased our TykeLight in February 2009, and it was a huge hit with our then 16-month-old. He used it every night, and sometimes during the day, up until a few weeks ago, when the charger failed to work. I finally got around to calling Mobi last week. They were extremely friendly, apologetic, and helpful. Today we received a brand new TykeLight in the mail, with no request to send back the defective one. Not only that, but the charging mechanism on the new TykeLight has been reversed, so what used to be on the bottom of the "person" is now on the base, and vice versa. This makes a lot of sense, because the pieces that used to be on the base of the "person" were quite fragile, while the old base had no movable parts. Also, the parts used this time are a bit more substantive. Wish you could attach pics to reviews, but trust me, my guess is that fewer people will have the same charging issues that have been mentioned in other reviews. I give the company and the newly redesigned TykeLight two huge thumbs up!

My daughter loves it the moment she got hands on it. She now likes holding it before she gets to sleep. I like the timer function which just shuts itself in about 15mins. The material looks very durable, it is like a hard (a bit rubbery) plastic. It has also the rainbow mode where it cycles through the different color. I was ready to order more as a christmas presents but saw Amazon has 4-7 wks leadtime now.

I just bought this for my 9 month old daughter because we had 2 of the older versions and my kids didn't want to share but now they want to steal hers. lol THESE Lights are amazing they are very durable. My kids throw them and beat them on stuff and they don't break. I have a 5 yr, 3 yr and 9 month old so they have been very well tested. The kids love the fact that they can be carried around and I love the timer. Also the great thing is if you plug them in after they go to sleep and the power goes out the rooms stay lit and the kids love the fact that when they wake up their room isn't dark and scary anymore. I would recommend this to ANYONE. Even my 71 year old grandma has one as a light to find the bathroom they are a great tool. Very cute and virtually undestructable. Great christmas presents and Ebay ships fast.

I absolutely love this product! My two year old fell in love with it the moment we gave it to her. She will not put it down! The company really did a great job with its newest light. Its great how our little one can chose whatever color she wants and I love how I don't have to worry about cords.

I bought this for my almost 3 year old son when we switched him from the crib to his big boy bed. He actually sleeps with it in his bed and it holds the charge all night long. He usually picks a different color every night and always places him back on the charger in the morning. He named it Buddy, and it has been a great tool for the huge adjustment.
